Disney or Bust!

Just in case you were wondering...
we've been gone.
Our extended family took a trip to Disney in Florida.
We flew out bright and early on a Friday morning.
We asked if the boys could see the cockpit,
(half thinking it wasn't allowed anymore),
but they allowed it!
Charlie was even "driving" with the steering control.
I was relieved when we landed in Orlando
that no coordinates had been changed by little fingers!

A majority of the mornings I woke up at 6AM,
and spent some time doing my Bible study on the screened in porch
with my coffee...and total silence.

The first day heading into a Disney park,
I kept wondering...
how do I try and keep God in focus?
And this is what greeted us outside Epcot while we
waited for the gates to open.
The plane continued writing the words LOVES YOU
after this.
That was very cool to see!
We love visiting the pavillions,
especially when weapons are involved,
and Grandma is shopping!
The boys all left "Norway" with a
shield and sword.
It's fun watching Amarin develop his own strengths
and interests outside of his big brother's.
One thing he loved to do at each park was
read the map.
He wanted to know where we were, where
we were headed, and would find out how to get there.
One time he corrected my direction, but I didn't
listen. Bummer...not fun being outsmarted by
a little boy!
We ate breakfast at Cinderella's castle.
This is blurry, but it was the moment captured
right before Laura grabbed onto Cinderella's wig.
I moved fast to get her tightly woven fingers
out of the "hair."
Cinderella was sweet and kept smiling.
I wonder what she was thinking?
Naughty cousins = the stocks!

My fish...Charlie was so happy when he didn't
have to wear his water wings!
All the boys love to swim.

Our bathing beauty!

One night, we went to the Hoop-de-doo Review...
a country western dinner show.
It has been the same show since I was a child...
ummm...lots of years...
but it is so funny every time.
During part of a song, they tell us to pick up our
napkins and wing 'em around our heads.
Kind of gross when you think about how we've just
been wiping our dirty hands and mouths on them,
and then flingin' all that gunk around the room.
But it's pretty funny, too!
What was funnier, is when Amarin started swingin' his
napkin, it flew out of his hand, and landed in a guy's lap
behind him.
We laughed so hard!
Not sure what was cuttin' 'em up here,
but the boys laughed all night at the show!

Hollywood Studios
OK...take the picture...we're cookin'!

Charlie and his big cousin Kevin...
aka. Boba Fett from Star Wars.
Golfing 9 holes with Daddy.

Feeding the sting rays at Sea World.

The dolphin favorite animal,
and the babies were so cute!
They would jump up here,
and then roll off into the water.
So fun watching them play!
Watching the dolphins.
Can't wait to swim with them next year...
as long as the oil gets cleaned out of the gulf.
Charlie joined in the African band
at Animal Kingdom.
Wonder what he's thinking...
The two workers on the left were from
They gave the kids fish and birds made out of
The brave souls that dared to face the Yeti
on Expedition Everest!
The boys LOVED the fast coasters!
Thankfully, Amarin was tall enough to ride
most of them.
Eating in "Morocco" on our last night.
We love Mediterranean food
and this was really delicious!
Jacob golfed 9 holes with Daddy, and a soft shelled

Loved reading your travelog and seeing all the pics! My mind wandered back many years to a time when mine were that age and our visits to Disney. :)

Oh I've just loved seeing your Disney pics. That's amazing to see "Jesus Loves You" written in the sky as you were walking into Epcot. I'm so glad you had such a special time with your sweet family.

God Bless,
