Friday was the first full day at home after Jenna Mei's surgery. She's doing amazingly well...no complaints at all. Quite frankly, I think I'd be moaning about having to sit all day...er...maybe not. Anyway, she's being a great sport. We're trying to move her around, but her favorite place is in the glider chair in the kitchen, which is where we spend most of our time anyway. She only mentioned that her right foot hurt once (where they took out a bone..ya know...the one she reminded the dr. to throw in the garbage?)...but it was only a little and the meds have kept all else at bay.
We did school Friday, too, and she participated in the ice age outside with Char. The history program that we're using this year, Mystery of History, places history within the context of the Bible. Very interesting to learn about how the Ice Age fits into the Bible!
All the boys are helping out with Jenna, but Char has been her biggest helper. Such a big heart...a powerful personality...but just as big of a heart.
