October 2015

Burger King crowns make him happy.  :)
The Greens, who are missionaries from Taiwan, battled it out with some of the
kids...Ohio State vs. UofM!
We visited the Websters' new kittens!!
Hot cocoa, computer, and school at his new desk.
Mr. Kear turned Jamie's old upright piano into a desk for Jacob.
 Gus is needy...
 and a great big baby!
Jacob helped do electrical work on the addition of our church.
Char decided the desk was a good choice for his school work today.
Charlie and Jenna are such good friends.
Only brothers would think it necessary to wrap up their sister
like a mummy and give her a headstone!
Poor Charlie was not feeling well.  Gus on guard!
Social Studies for this year revolved around the political process leading up to the presidential election of 2016.  Kids baked elephant and donkey sugar cookies.

 Happy 10th birthday, Charlie!

Light the Night (Halloween) with Lawrence and Lucas He.  We serve popcorn to the kids,
and hot cider to the parents.

Charlie and our neighbor Owen were Superman twins!

September 2015

Charlie "kicked" off September by playing soccer for the Christian Center.
He is so fast on that field!

Vacuuming is so much more fun with a monkey friend!
Jenna made White Bean Chili for dinner.
Charlie, Jenna, Faith, and Anna accompanied the choir.
Who loves making money off the tooth fairy?

 Where are the children?
When there's just Jacob and Mom, we have to grab lunch together!
It was "dress like a nerd night" at AWANA.  Charlie came up with this idea because he didn't understand what a nerd was, except candy!
 Be nice, Laura!

August 2015

The summer comes to a close, and another school year begins.
There they go...
and here they return for their first day of homeschool, grades 3rd & 4th grades.
Laura is in 5th grade, and it's her last year at Banner Elementary.

She is so cute in her new saddle shoes!
Jacob started Liberty University online, dual enrollment program.
Amarin entered 8th grade at Peoria Christian School.  Time for him to experience a different mode of learning and teaching.
I'm cool!
Amarin, the engineer.
 Chick-fil-A...always a good choice!
 Boxes make the best toys!
Char played soccer for the Christian Center.
The deal was if he made a goal, he got an icecream treat!
 Yes...we're back at Chik-fil-A.  A homeschool lunch!

 Happy 11th birthday, Laura!!
Char & Jenna love helping blow out candles!
So, how do those lemons taste?
Laura loves music.  She just sat in a trance listening to the violinist.
Charlie gave Laura coupons for stroller rides for her birthday.
Laura got her tent bed!  Now she sleeps cozy and safely.
"What's so funny?  I'm just out playing football?"
Char loves writing notes.  He's so cute!
 Piano Camp at Bradley.

Jacob played beautifully, and loved the grand piano!
Jacob with the camp director, Dr. Choi.
