Our Christmas Morning 2021

When all is still silent in the early morning...

The breakfast table is ready.

Reilly and Miller family gifts are ready to travel next week.

Merry Christmas, sleepy heads!

Matching jammies this year for the girls!

Socks to match everyone's personalities!

New lunchboxes for new schools

Jenna's big gift was her chrome-book for Liberty Prep.

Jamie received a stand-up paddle board/kayak for use down in North Carolina.

Jenna gave Jacob a musical Elvis plate.

The guys' big gifts were Bag Boy golf bags, hopefully for a new hobby down in NC.

I had to show off my new crocs, purse, beach towel, and Maui Jim sunglasses!

For our basketball guy...Jacob gave him a new ball.

Charlie's turn!

Charlie baked Aunt Susan's famous recipe of peanut butter cookies, wrapped around snickers bars!  They turned out perfectly, and they're going fast!

Painting Party!

Denise invited Jenna and me to a painting party.  The party was a fund-raiser for Freedom Paws. The picture we were to paint looked pretty complicated, but they break it down step-by-step, and we did it!!

One Final Visit

Little Sophia spent one last weekend with us.  We will miss this sweet girl, her mama, and her sister.

That hair!  She's so gorgeous, and she loved playing with the nativity.

Frosting cookies with Jenna, Sophia took them all home.

A Night In Bethlehem with Rachel and Alysse Collins

Jacob, Doug, and Scott made great wise men.

Denise was the innkeeper.

Kyle, Megan, and baby Aina

She even got to watch Charlie's last basketball game.

More basketball

Charlie's basketball season was short due to our impending move to NC, but he loved every minute of it.  At the final game, Coach gave him a starting position. Charlie was so surprised!

More fun and traditions

Every year a sign.

My wrapping partner.

The girls and I were invited to a ladies night at Chillicothe Bible Church.  We crafted, played games, ate yummy treats, and heard a lovely message.

Guess who's not working?

Melody, Caitlin, Courtney, Jenna, and Zoe at CBC's ladies' night.

Ella Ulestad sent us a beautiful box of German sweets.

Are you still considered a porch-pirate if you're picking up your own gift from someone else's home?

Christmas traditions begin!

If there's any time of year that I love tradition, it's Christmas.  It starts the night of Thanksgiving, when the guys haul up the boxes of Christmas decorations.  Then on Friday, the guys go to breakfast and shopping, Jenna volunteers at Helping Hands, and Laura and I decorate while listening to Christmas music on the radio.  Then, when everyone gets home, we decorate the tree and watch The Polar Express while eating pizza.  My happy place.
